Booking Terms
Applies to all bookings for Expansion Experiences, coaching journeys, workshops, courses and any other paid offering by Here She Rises. Last updated August 2026.
A booking is only confirmed once payment (or, where a payment plan is offered, the first installment) has been received in full. Prices are shown in Canadian dollars and are subject to change for future bookings, but the price you pay at checkout is the price you owe.
All bookings, deposits and payments are non-refundable. This includes (without limitation) change of mind, illness, personal emergency, travel disruption, or simple non-attendance. No refunds or credits will be issued except where required by law, or at the sole discretion of Here She Rises in exceptional circumstances.
Bookings are personal to the individual named at checkout. Places, sessions and program access may not be transferred, resold, shared or gifted to another person without prior written consent from Here She Rises.
Given limited capacity, dates and times cannot be changed once booked. If you are unable to attend, your place is forfeited and no refund or credit will be given, except at the sole discretion of Here She Rises.
If an experience, session or program is cancelled or rescheduled by Here She Rises, you will be offered either a place at the next available date or a full refund of amounts paid for that booking. Here She Rises also reserves the right to change facilitators, venue, timing or itinerary details while keeping the overall spirit and value of the experience intact.
Where an installment or payment-plan option is offered (such as the Expansion Journey's 6 weekly payments), choosing this option is a binding commitment to pay the full program price. All remaining installments stay due on their scheduled dates regardless of attendance or continued participation. Missed or failed payments may result in paused access until the account is brought up to date.
By booking, you confirm you are physically and mentally able to take part. Coaching, workshops and wellness activities offered by Here She Rises are for personal growth and empowerment purposes only, and are not a substitute for medical, psychological or professional therapeutic treatment. If you have any health condition that may be affected by participation, please consult a medical professional before booking. You take part at your own risk, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Here She Rises and Jo Payne are not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from participation.
Group experiences often involve personal sharing. Participants agree to treat what is shared by others with discretion and confidentiality, and to engage with fellow participants and facilitators respectfully at all times. Here She Rises reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive or disrespectful, without refund.
Photography and video may be taken during in-person and online experiences for use in marketing, social media and promotional materials. By attending, you consent to this use unless you notify Here She Rises in writing before the experience that you wish to opt out.
Unless stated otherwise for a specific offering, all participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the experience.
Here She Rises is not liable for any delay, change or cancellation caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, illness, venue unavailability, government restrictions or other events of force majeure. Where reasonably possible, an alternative date or format will be offered.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
